Curling Stone: Here is another Winter Olympics part! This covers some advanced surface blends and good surface modeling. A curling stone is made from an injection molded handle mounted to a solid granite stone that has been carefully machined to a precise shape. This part covers several different surface modeling features and discuss ways to ensure correct draft of surfaces at the parting line. It touches on some good uses of surface fill and surface sweeps.
